Social Mobilization and Institution Development for Urban Poor (SMID)

Social Mobilisation is the primary step of community development to organise and initiate action with their enterprise and creativity.

Self-Employment Program through Credit Linkage (SEP)

This component focuses on financial assistance to individuals/groups of urban poor for setting up self-employment ventures / micro-enterprises.

Innovative and Special Projects (ISP)

This component will implement a time-bound programme to demonstrate an approach likely to have broad implications for sustaining urban poverty alleviation efforts.

Capacity Building and Training (CBT)

This component aims to provide high-quality technical assistance, build solid institutional structures, and develop the capacity of the urban poor.

Shelter for Urban Homeless (SUH)

The objective of the component is to address urban-homeless needs by providing shelter access with essential services.

Employment through Skill Training and Placement for Urban Youth (ESTP)

This component under TNULM is designed to provide skills to the unskilled urban poor and upgrade their existing skills.

Scheme for Support of Urban Street Vendors (SUSV)

The objective of the component is to address the vulnerabilities of urban street vendors through a multi-pronged approach.
